The Billmonitor team is looking forward to attending the NHS Provider’s flagship annual conference next week.
A voluntary membership organisation, NHS Providers comprises all NHS Acute, Mental Health, Community, Ambulance and Integrated Care Trusts. The organisation uses collective influence to shape and support financial policy, regulatory frameworks, shared improvement and government policy by giving one voice to the NHS.
This year’s timely theme is resilience, with a focus on resilient services, resilient communities and resilience for the future. Resilience for the future is hugely reliant on careful budgeting and intelligent spending, which means that Billmonitor’s message is now more important than ever. Our 2021 investigation of the UK Public Sector Mobile Phone Spend showed that organisations can achieve substantial savings regardless of their size or level of data use.
Of the public sector research and its relevance for the conference, Billmonitor MD Klaus Henke says: “The investigation, which was the first of its kind within the public sector, uncovered a huge potential for savings. It is crucial that public sector organisations recognise those savings opportunities. The good news is that there are already tools available to help organisations make better procurement decisions and to improve cost monitoring and management, maximising the cost reduction potential, and that’s the message we aim to share at this year’s conference.”
