What Information Do You Gather And How Is It Used?

What we gather: To get the most accurate recommendation using the Bill Analysis feature, we need your name, email address, mobile operator, mobile phone number, mobile billing username, mobile billing password and mobile usage data. If we have a question about your personal information, we may contact you by email or by phone. For example, we may email you if we have a problem accessing your account to retrieve your mobile usage data.

How we use personal information: We use your personal information with your permission to analyse your mobile usage data, calculate the optimum tariff and contract choice appropriate for you, and to provide you with monthly bill analysis updates. We also use your personal information, taken together with other users’ data, to optimise the service we provide to you. How Secure is My Information?

What About My Subscription?

Registering: Certain areas and features of Billmonitor are available to you without registration or the need to provide to us any information. However, registering with Billmonitor allows you to take advantage of special features like Bill Analysis.

Option to unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from Billmonitor anytime by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link found in the footer of any email sent by Billmonitor. Alternatively you can send an email to informing us of your wish to unsubscribe from the Service.

Option to delete your information: Your personal information is yours. You can remove it any time you want by sending an email to informing us of your wish to delete your personal information from the Service. Your personal information will then be permanently expunged from our primary production servers. However, your personal information may also remain on a backup server or media for up to 6 months. Optimor keeps these backups to ensure our continued ability to provide Billmonitor to you in the event of malfunction or damage to our primary production servers. Other Services: Optimor may send emails to existing clients in respect of other Optimor services. We never sell data to allow others to market to you separately or allow third party marketing by email via Billmonitor. If you nevertheless do not want Optimor to send you such material, about its other services, you should unsubscribe from Billmonitor.

How Do You Recognize Me?

We automatically recognize your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your operating system, and your IP address. We sometimes use this information to solve problems with our server. We use URL encoding and Javascript tags to monitor your activity on our website. We may use this information to determine the most popular Tariff Plans and pages on our website and to enhance our marketing efforts and activities. This helps us make changes to improve your experience on this website.

Optimor specifically reserves the right to transfer Billmonitor account information to a third party in connection with a Transfer. Should such a Transfer occur, we will use our best efforts to require that the new combined entity follow this privacy and security policy with respect to your personal information, as and to the extent required by applicable law and require that you receive prior notice if your personal information could be used contrary to this policy.
